About Bruce

Student advocate. Policy wonk. Nonprofit governance.

Bruce is an incoming JD candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School and the President of the Ontario Young Progressive Conservative Association.

Bruce worked in the office of Ontario’s Minister of Education, where he advised on communications, policy development, and issues management. He also operates a freelance public affairs consultancy, supporting a diverse range of clients with media training, government relations, and creative marketing. A seasoned political organizer, Bruce has held senior leadership and consultant roles on campaigns at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels, as well as in intra-party elections.

Bruce is fluently trilingual in English, French, and Mandarin. He holds the CIPP/C designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals, a Certificate in Education Law from OsgoodePD and a Google IT Professional Certificate.

At Western University, he served as Vice-Chair of the University Students’ Council, where he also chaired the HR Committee and oversaw the student health plan.

Bruce is a public appointee to an Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant Review Team and sits on the boards of two Canadian charities. His past community leadership includes serving on the Advocacy Committee for Strides Toronto and as a youth representative on the Minister’s Advisory Council for Special Education.
