Thank you for your support! To make a donation, please e-transfer to donate@bruceyu.ca and include your mailing address in the memo field.

Under Ontario law, the campaign must collect the mailing address of each donor and issue a receipt. If you are unable to include a message with your donation, please email us at donate@bruceyu.ca with your address.

Donation Limits

Only individuals who are resident in Ontario may make donations to a municipal campaign. An individual may contribute a maximum of $1,200 to a single candidate ($2,500 to a Toronto mayoral candidate).

An individual may not contribute more than $5,000 in total to candidates running for offices on the same council or school board, or to third-party advertisers who are registered in the same municipality.

Contributions Over $100

Under the Municipal Elections Act, if total contributions to this campaign exceed $100, the donor’s name and address will be publicly listed on the candidate's financial statement.

Receipts

Contribution receipts are not tax receipts.
